Team Echo is a multidisciplinary team of craftsmen, artists, designers, and technologists thriving in a nurturing community. We leverage our collective expertise and collaborative spirit to foster creative explorations. Our aim is to use artistic expression to challenge prevailing narratives and reassess the impact of our digital interactions.
A Platform for Growth and Collaboration
The core mission of Team Echo is to foster collaboration, nurture talent, and provide hands-on opportunities for members to develop polished expressions of their skills. From its inception, Team Echo has been dedicated to empowering artists, designers, and programmers by offering credible, real-world experience that enhances portfolios and opens doors to future opportunities.
Understanding the unique challenges faced by international students and emerging professionals, Team Echo strives to address gaps in collaboration, communication, and motivation through meaningful projects. By leveraging our team’s legacy and credibility, members can showcase their work confidently, benefiting from the collective strength of a shared vision.
Looking ahead, I’m exploring a residency-based collaboration model to keep Team Echo accessible to all who share our passion for creativity and innovation. This flexible structure ensures that both long-standing and new members can continue contributing to and growing with the team. Together, we aim to build a lasting platform that inspires, supports, and evolves with its members.
Leadership with Purpose: Directing Team Echo with Servant Leadership
As the Creative Director and Project Lead of Team Echo, I embrace the role of a Lemager—a leader who inspires with vision while managing with empathy and precision. My approach is grounded in servant leadership, where empowering my team and fostering their creativity is at the core of every decision.
Guided by a clear purpose, I lead the strategic and creative direction of immersive installations that transform research into tangible, interactive art. Recognizing the profound impact of multi-sensory interaction, I have actively sought out and collaborated with exceptional visual and audio designers to enrich our work, ensuring that each project resonates deeply with its audience.
My leadership philosophy is rooted in creating an environment where collaboration thrives, and each team member feels valued and inspired. From conceptualizing user-centered experiences to overseeing execution, I blend creative vision with meticulous management to bring our projects to life. Whether it's identifying opportunities, negotiating resources, or engaging audiences, my goal is always to push boundaries while remaining grounded in our shared mission.
Achievements like presenting at NYC Resistor’s Interactive Show, delivering artist talks, and being featured in international publications reflect not just the strength of our work but the strength of our team. Together, we are building installations that engage, provoke, and inspire—one project at a time.
