My exploration of the art and science of paper engineering was truly fascinating! I dedicated time to studying and practicing various techniques such as folding, cutting, scoring, and gluing to transform flat sheets of paper into complex and interactive designs. By integrating elements of art, design, engineering, and craftsmanship, I have successfully created unique and visually appealing paper-based structures.
My projects have encompassed a wide range of applications, including functional objects like furniture or architectural models. Through my expertise in paper engineering, I have been able to fully appreciate the versatility of paper as a medium for creative expression. It has been a fulfilling journey to explore the possibilities of paper and push the boundaries of its potential in my work.

Dragon Origami Instruction
D.E. Shaw & Company
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

I took the initiative to create a Dragon origami instruction as a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) instructor at STEM Kids NYC during the Children's Day event hosted by D.E. Shaw & Company. This event invited employees to bring their children and participate in fun and educational STEAM activities. I specifically designed the instruction for kids between the ages of 5 and 9.
Starting from scratch, I carefully watched dragon origami tutorials, folded each step, and captured photos to document the process. I then utilized Adobe Illustrator to create detailed illustrations and diagrams for the instruction, making it visually appealing and accessible for young learners.
It was a fulfilling experience to take the initiative in contributing to the Children's Day event by providing an origami activity that combined creativity, fine motor skills, and learning. I hope that the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own dragon origami and were inspired to explore the world of STEAM through this engaging and educational activity.
