My pedagogical approach is centered on fostering embodied cognition experiences in educational settings, particularly in today’s society, where we often encounter fewer direct experiences but are inundated with imagery. By integrating principles of metacognition and spatial cognition for learning and experiences, I aim to encourage students to reflect critically on their thought processes while exploring how the design of physical and virtual environments shapes perception, interaction, and learning. This approach not only enhances their understanding of cognitive and spatial dynamics but also equips them with the tools to create meaningful, immersive experiences that resonate in both digital and physical contexts.
